The development of the GRANIT system is focused upon current clients' requirements. Current areas of development are:
- A Solenoid Activated Impactor
- this will enable the GRANIT field equipment to operate completely self sufficiently with no requirements for an air supply.
- the potential of using solenoid impactors enables the development of remote monitoring systems
- Bolt Length Assessment
- total length assessment of existing service bolts
- to enable indication of broken bolts and location of the break
- The development of a hand held quality control system.
- provide on the spot quality control at bolt installation.
- Trials for Multistrand anchor load analysis using patented de-coupling device to be undertaken.
- to enable assessment of individual tendons in a multistrand anchorage
